Lauren Benson, Consultant

Lauren has 20+ years of experience in consulting and project management. Lauren helps clients to improve their performance by organizing, managing, developing, rewarding and motivating their people. She has consulted to clients in a variety of industries including higher education, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, healthcare, transportation, insurance, and financial services.  Lauren has led large-scale projects with clients employing over 7500 employees and has consulted with smaller start-up firms advising them on how to develop and build management tool sets.

Lauren’s area of focus and expertise include reward design and administration (including the development of customized compensation programs), performance management, culture assessment, competency-based processes and applications, and job evaluation, measurement, and design. 

Lauren holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She is a member of WorldatWork.
